For options in transportation check out Gallavan and the free city bus service by HRDC. My son occasionally uses UBER and it’s been great.
SPECIAL NOTES
If you are new to Montana there are a couple things you need to be aware of:
The wait list for housing services and support is years long. You need to get your special needs person in the Montana state ‘system’ ASAP.
When you register for school and your child has an IEP (individual education plan) have getting state services for your child as a goal and they can help you navigate the system .
Visit SEPTA and attend their meetings to learn more about resources for your school age special needs child. They have the knowledge!
